To imporve to get to the next grade I need to:
- have better time managements
- do all presentations
- stay up to date with essays
- do my own wider reading to understand post modernism
- try to use prezi to make PPT more engaging
- finish work on time

Groups and proposal
In my group I am working Nkechi, Tiara, and Shahna.
Nkechi’s ideas
· Youth parliament – looking at getting young people in parliament
· Reliance on technology – exploring how good or bad it is to be reliant on technology
· London riots – youths view and opinion on the riots (august 2011)
Tiara’s ideas
· Does TV raise our children – is the TV raising our children instead of parents
· Food – difference between organic and normal produce
· Smoking – looking at the dangers of teenagers smoking
My ideas
· Beauty – what makes us pretty? Skin tone, teeth, eyes, lips. Exploring patterns in beauty
· Food – is food that is advertised as healthy really that healthy
· Education – are the demands for young adults too high
Shahna’s ideas
· Music – influence certain types of music have on people’s behaviour
· News – good news and bad news (e.g. phone hacking) is certain type of news ignored
· Media and religion
Personally the three ideas I like the most are:
1. My beauty idea
2. Reliance on technology – linking this in with tiara’s TV raising our kids idea
3. London riots
As a group the three ideas we like the most are:
1. Exploring a food related idea and combing my idea and Tiara’s idea
2. Reliance on technology – linking this in with tiara’s TV raising our kids idea
3. Does music videos condition what we see as beautiful *combination of mine and Shahna’s ideas
The reason why we are dropping the rest of the ideas are because I feel some would not lead in the right way, some are more dependant archival footage. Collecting peoples opinion would be hard e.g. news, finally in a society becoming secular will anyone pay attention to things about religion.
To be successful this year we will need to work to the best of our ability, have a good dialogue with miss and keep on time to all deadlines.
